ZTE high efficiency V3 series GSM products and soft switch equipments are accepted by China Unicom. Until now, ZTE has constructed the largest soft switch L1 tandem network in China which hold more than 50% market share in China Unicom. ZTE won the soft switch nodes order of 15 million lines in 15 provinces.
Especially in Shaanxi province, the capacity of VMSC is over 1.6 million.The large area dual homing 1+1 mutual remote disaster recovery scheme is adopted; the virtual MSC ID is used
to realize the cross-area networking management and operation; the system can be compatible to the existing network billing and BOSS system facilitates the operator to quickly construct the network.
Construct the L1 soft switch tandem network of China Unicom exclusively
China Unicom is dedicated to applying the IP technology into the toll network at all times to meet the development of the long-distance service. The full IP bearer is used in this project and the network includes the 20 pairs of TMSC Server and 36 TMGW, which is equivalent to total
capacity of 47000 E1.
ZTE solely wins the bid with the advanced technology. With rapid construction, the 1st Phase had been successfully completed within 2 months, and to meet the peak traffic requirement in Mid-autumn (Chinese Traditional Festival), large-scale traffic were cut over successively in 7
provinces.
Fast and reliable network replace and swap in large scale
Due to the fast development of GSM network, some obsolete equipments were presented at China Unicom. ZTE assists China Unicom to swap and replace the network by ZTE series BTS and professional after-sales team.
ZTE already replaced and swapped more than 50 thousand TRX in China Unicom network.With more and more V3 equipments are adopted by China Unicom, ZTE operates and maintenances more than
ten thousands TRXs for China Unicom in many province.
