To be the second largest mobile operator in Pakistan within 3 years is the aggressive strategic target. CMPak signed a contract with ZTE in June 2007 which includes more than 16000
TRX, 10 million lines core network and SMS/MMS/CRBT/Billing/IN valueadded services.

After the network expansion, it will be the first all IP R4 mobile soft switch core network in South Asia. To save the CAPEX, ZTE offered new generation unified platform products which can evolve to R5 smoothly without any hardware investment.To save the OPEX and ensure the network reliability, 1+1 disaster tolerance HLR with single node of 14 million capacities was adopted in the solution. At the same time, ZTE’s NetSpeed technology is widely used in CMPak’s network to enlarge the capacity and coverage.
