ZTE increased the investment on TD-LTE R&D since it gained the largest 3G market share of China Mobile in 2009. ZTE holds the leading position in TD-LTE field and devotes itself to the establishment of 3GPP LTE standards now. ZTE is in-depth cooperating with global mainstream operators to promote the development of TD-LTE industry.

ZTE have made remarkable achievements in the Huairou TD-LTE field test hold by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). ZTE and ASTRI also are the first in the industry to jointly submit TD-LTE IODT report to the LSTI. ZTE has created plenty of No.1 in the TD-LTE field.

ZTE is collaborating with mainstream operators, such as CMCC, on TD-LTE networking research, which includes indoor and outdoor coverage, inter-system interference, intra-system interference and common-frequency networking.

ZTE proposes the SDR based Uni-RAN solution supporting 2G (CDMA/GSM) + TD-LTE and 3G (TD-SCDMA/UMTS) + TD-LTE. The SDR based Uni-RAN solution simplifies the network evolution and convergence. ZTE’s TD-LTE solution provides a solid foundation for networking and multi-mode network convergence.
