After the print media (newspapers and magazines), broadcasting, television and Internet, Mobile TV is named as the fifth media as its mobility, timeliness and portability satisfies the fast-paced requirements in the modern society, and will definitely make great impact and profound influence on people's living ways.
From a long-term point of view, to make full use of the advantages of mobile telecommunication networks and CMMB broadcast networks to form an all-win value chain is a development trend of the mobile television service. It is an important application to integrate CMMB with the mobile communication network.
ZTE CMMB Solution
For CMMB terrestrial coverage, with the terrestrial U-band coverage network, the urban metropolitan districts have been covered by the multimedia broadcast signals. In addition, on the basis of mobile multimedia service development through broadcasting, the bidirectional terrestrial network can be utilized to develop bidirectional interaction services. Please refer to Figure 2 for the infrastructure of the CMMB system.
