Figure 1. ZTE’s network swap principles
(1) Whole network
ZTE is able to provide whole-network swap and segmented cutover. ZTE’s swap strategies have taken into account the reasonable sequence of core networks, access networks, and access networks of different standards. The whole-network swap solutions offered by ZTE are integrated solutions from planning to design and FAC.
(2) Regional solutions
According to the priorities designated by the customers to different regions, ZTE will develop regional SWAP solutions to appropriately allocate the schedule and resources.
(3) Cluster
ZTE has established a complete set of cluster swap processes to ensure security and timeliness of cluster swap. Generally, the sequence of cluster swap is from low voice traffic areas to high voice traffic areas and from suburban areas to urban areas, to ensure network security.
(4) Base station
ZTE’s swap solutions for base stations take into account all factors, such as spaces, power supply, transmission and antenna and feeder systems of base stations. Optimum swap solutions are in place for the models of different base stations, covering all currently available scenarios of base stations and equipment rooms. ZTE’s process of swap of individual base stations has been proved effective in many networks.
