Data Redundancy Center

In most of operators’ networks, there are too many large capacity multi-vendors HLR equipments, which is difficult for disaster recovery and requires improving reliability.

Data redundancy center, based on ZXUN universal profile platform (USPP), realizes N+1 redundancy for user data of different vendors. User data is synchronized in real time. When the primary HLR is down, the service automatically switches to data redundancy center, so the network security and reliability is improved.

The current old HLR equipment does not need to be swapped or upgrade. Based on the large capacity of ZXUN USPP, data redundancy center achieves real-time disaster recovery for current HLR equipment, causing zero interruption on service and no impact on current equipment of HLR, MSC and SGSN.

  The data redundancy center adapts to the data formats of multiple vendors; the customized data verification tool guarantees the data consistency and ensures zero data loss during redundancy.

China Mobile – the Largest HLR Redundancy Center Application (70 million subscribers in one office)

ZTE helped China Mobile build the largest HLR redundancy center in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The capacity of one office reached 70 million subscribers. It can coexist with HLRs of other vendors including NSN, Ericsson, ALU, Huawei, and switch among them for disaster recovery to improve the network reliability.
