Position: ZXMP S320 integrated MSTP multi-service transmission equipment
ZXMP S320 is a new generation of compact STM-1/STM-4 multiservice transport platform. It supports TDM, IP and ATM services，so it is applied to basestation service access, VIP service access and fixed-line IP service access. It works with ZTE’s other MSTP equipment in one network to provide the carriers with the solution of the highest performance-cost ratio.

It supports a wide variety of services, e.g., STM-4/STM-1 (O/E) service, E3/T3/E1/T1 service, 10M/100M Ethernet service, 155Mbit/s ATM service, N×64k service, 2/4-line audio service and RS232/RS485/RS422 transparent data service.
- Perfect network protection
Support chainMS protection, 2-fiber unidirectional path protection ring, 2-fiber bidirectional MS protection ring, 4-fiber bidirectional MS protection ring, Dual-Node Interconnection (DNI) protection and Subnet Connection Protecton (SNCP).

- Small size, compact structure and flexible use
It has small size, high integration, low cost and the height of only 4U. It can be installed into standard 19” cabinet. It can be configured to different NE types through different board arrangements in the subrack to provide the functions of SDH/MSTP equipment. Service boards can be inserted into any slot in the system. ZXMP S320 can be used as the extension subrack of ZXMP S390 and ZXMP S380.
- Assure service safety and high reliability in several ways to reduce OPEX
Supports 1+1 protection of cross board, clock board and power board.
Support 1:N protection of service interfaces. The system performs the protection according to the specified priority so as to improve the reliability.
All boards adopt the hot-swap design to protect services. If a board is plugged or unplugged in system operation, there will be no influence on unrelated services and the system.
- New dust-proof design
As it adopts the new dust-proof design, the independent dust-proof plug-in box is not needed.
- Excellent clock performance
Clock is the kernel of SDH. ZTE’s valuable experience in the research on clock synchronization enables ZXMP S320 to adapt to the access of different equipments in various low-end environments. In terms of clock performance, better crystal oscillator with customized and optimized filter algorithm enables more stable performance under tracing, holdover, free-fun modes. On the other hand, patented S1 byte clock protection algorithm is effective for optimizing the users’ clock networks.
- Superior product portfolio offers excellent solution
ZXMP S330 can work well with ZTE’s other ZXMP products at different nodes and at different network levels according to different demands, and all of them can be managed by ZXONM E300 and ZXONM N100, which will reduce CAPEX and provide cost-effective solution.
