ZXSDR BS8906—New Generation Compact Outdoor Micro Node B

　　Overview

　　ZXSDR BS8906 is the new generation compact outdoor micro base station which adopts advanced Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology. The hardware architecture is based on ZTE unified MicroTCA platform and MCPA technology is adopted in the radio part. This revolutionary BTS platform supports all kinds of wireless access technology including GSM, UMTS, CDMA2000, and WiMAX. BS8906 is mainly used for coverage supplement in hot-point and blind-point areas. The figure is below:

　　• BS9806 has small size and light weight, will be easy for transportation and installation. It supports ground-mounted, post-mounted and wall-mounted installation modes. Maintenance at front and leading-out at the bottom.

　　• High integration and reliability, strong adaptive ability in hard working environment: Built-in transmission devices and lightning protection module to save the operator’s investment power. Working temperature range is from -40℃～+50℃ and working humidity range is from 10%～100% which make it very suitable for working in bad environment.

　　• All IP Micro TCA architecture，Smoothly Evolve to Future Network: ZXSDR BS8906 adopts Micro TCA architecture, fully supports IP RAN networking, provides FE/GE interface and fully satisfies future evolution to HSPA+ and LTE.

　　• Multi-carrier Support, Smooth Expansion: RF unit of BS8906 supports up to WCDMA 4CS. Each sector can be configured from 1 to 4 CS of WCDMA flexibly, which can fully satisfy 3G network capacity expansion requirements with low cost in the future.
