ZXSDR BS8700— New Generation Dual-Mode DBS

　　Overview

　　ZXSDR BS8700, a new generation dual-mode distributed base station of SDR series UMTS products, can offer various coverage solutions for different scenarios. There are two types of combination portfolios according to different RRU connecting with BBU, B8200+R8840 and B8200+R8860. It develops a new solution for 2G/3G mixed networking and network evolution, so that the network construction cost is greatly decreased. The figure is below:

　　Highlights

　　• Series of RRU with high output power, including R8840 and R8860 (60W/80W), suitable for outdoor macro network, indoor macro network and indoor micro network scenarios.

　　• BBU and RRU separation of design, small size, easy handling. BBU can be directly installed in the existing 19 inch cabinet, on the wall, on the ground, etc. RRU can be mounted on the pole, the wall, the tower top, etc, achieve "Zero Foot-print" deployment.

　　• Adopts MicroTCA architecture, ATM/IP dual protocol stacks, provides various interfaces E1/T1/E3/T3/STM-1/GE etc. It supports SDH networking, hybrid transmission and all IP networking.

　　• UMTS and GSM can be supported simultaneously, supports GSM/GPRS/ EDGE/ Enhanced EDGE/UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ and fully satisfies future evolution to LTE.

　　• The PA efficiency achieves 45% with DPD + Super Doherty technology that independently developed by ZTE.
