ZXSDR BS8900—Dual-mode Outdoor Macro Base Station

　　Overview

　　ZXSDR BS8900, a new generation dual-mode outdoor macro base station of SDR series products, enables operator to deploy high capacity base stations at areas where equipment room cost is expensive or difficult to acquire. Based on SDR architecture, BS8900 offers GSM/UMTS dual-mode networking capability and provides a future-proof solution for smooth evolution to Enhanced EDGE, HSPA+ and LTE. The figure is below:

　　• S8900 decomposes a base station into Outdoor RF Cabinet, Site Support Cabinet and Battery Cabinet, and can be easily installed separately in constrained locations. Auxiliary equipments, including transmission, battery and power supplier, are integrated into the cabinet to provide a full functional outdoor base station solution.
