Network Optimization

Network planning and performance optimization of built networks refer to network optimization conducted after construction. The primary goal is to ensure that network work properly while realizing the planned coverage and capacity indicators. Network optimization includes optimization of individual base stations, clusters and the whole network.

Main activities involved in optimization of individual base stations, clusters and the whole network are described below:

Optimization of individual base stations is mainly intended to ensure the essential functions of cells and the coverage of base station signals work properly within the scope of optimization.

Main activities involved in optimization of clusters include coverage optimization, adjacent allocation optimization, scrambling optimization, and resolution of problems such as failed service access, call drop, failed handover, etc.

The optimization process for regional (whole) networks is basically the same as that for clusters. After the completion of cluster optimization, optimization will be done in a large scale.

During the three phases, ZTE can provides optimization of individual base stations, DT testing, CQT testing, system simulation, user complaint handling, network optimization analysis, and network optimization implementation. The services are broken down to satisfy specific equipments of customers. ZTE also provides whole network optimization solutions including all abovementioned services to customers.
