HONG KONG, Jan 29 (Reuters) - China's ZTE Corp (0763.HK), the country's No. 2 maker of telecoms equipment, said on Friday it expects to report its 2009 profit rose 43-56 percent, as it benefitted from an export boost and increased spending in its home market.
ZTE (000063.SZ) said it expects to report a net profit of 2.37 billion yuan ($347 million) to 2.59 billion yuan for 2009, up from 1.66 billion yuan in 2008, according to a statement to the Hong Kong Stocks Exchange.
"In 2009, benefitted by the large-scale construction of 3G networks in China, the company achieved larger growth in business revenue with enhancement in its domestic market share," ZTE said in the statement.
