According to the study by Infonetics, a renowned telecom and datacom market research firm, ZTE has held a 12.6% share of the global wireless communications market in 2009, and becoming the fourth largest provider of the industry. In the domestic market, ZTE have actively participated in the bidding for 3G projects of the 3 operators, by holding the largest share at 35% of the contracts and forming a sound market pattern for its development in 3G (iSuppli, by January 2010). As of the end of 2010, ZTE’s SDR base station, which is highly recognized by the operators, had been deployed in more than 80 operators in over 60 countries with accumulative volume of shipment up to 700,000.


Oct, ZTE’s Uni-Ran based LTE-A system with more than 1Gbit/s of peak downlink speed showed up in the Expo COMM China 2010.
