Win-Win Commercialization Mode of Remote Learning

From the initial development of just multimedia courseware to now diversified e-Learning knowledge services, ZTE Remote Learning has been helping operators enter into a brand-new era.

ZTE University specializes in producing quality multimedia courseware which significantly reduces the costs and improves the effects of training for businesses. To help Telkom, an Indonesian telecom operator, improve the quality of management, the remote learning team of ZTE University developed the multimedia courseware for 9 technical specialties and completed the dubbing into Indonesian in 1 month. Due to the tight schedule, ZTE University sent multimedia development experts to the site in Indonesia. From preparation of scripts to production of multimedia courseware, the experts spared no efforts to ensure on-time delivery with the support from local employees and the headquarters. The multimedia courseware was highly recognized by Telkom, which promised further cooperation with ZTE. With e-Learning, Telkom has saved costs of training, improved the coverage of training and generated benefits for the company.

In 2009, the remote learning team successfully cooperated with the Post and Telecom Press in a strategic manner in developing a series of popular science books about communications in addition to optical discs containing multimedia courseware. This is an innovative business mode of ZTE University Remote Learning. At present, the drafts of Dialogue – Communications Principles, Dialogue – The Third Generation Mobile Communications, and Dialogue – Broadband Access have been preliminarily completed, and the associated multimedia courseware was presented on the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day on May 17, 2009 for the first time.

The remote learning team of ZTE University provides a range of e-Learning solutions and consultation services for both internal and external customers.
