Türk Telekom Used ZTE DSL to Build Multi-play Service Providing Network

Project Profile

Türk Telekom (which is abbreviated to TT) is the largest fixed network operator in Turkey. TT provides all kinds of national and international telecommunication services, which puts a whole range of telecommunication services such as ADSL, ISDN, TTnet, Centrex, Leased Lines, Packet Switched Data, VSAT, IBS, GMPCS, Video Conference, Videotex, NMT Mobile Telephone, Paging, Directory and 118 Assistant Directory etc.

Though there are many ISP in Turkey, those ISPs haven’t their own broadband networks. Those ISPs lease TT broadband network for business. Driven by Triple Play services, TT plans to vigorously develop IP DSLAM.

Network Topology

In the TT IP DSLAM project, ZTE has given a detailed description of the network plan, design, respective system and products, and a triple-play service solution for TT. According to the requirement of TT, ZTE proposes our latest IP DSLAM for TT DSL project, The total capacity of this project is several million.

With the development of triple play market, there will be more and more customers and the traffic flow will become heavy. In order to alleviate the burden of SSG and improve network efficiency, ZTE recommend SSG is only responsible for Internet service, the data traffic of other service including VoIP and IPTV will not pass through SSG. The network topology and the service stream are as the above diagram figure 1 TT DSL Project Network Topology.
